What “private” means on this site
VoiceAI Free does not send the text in its editor to a VoiceAI Free generation server. Instant mode passes it to the Web Speech interface supplied by the browser. Natural AI mode downloads JavaScript, model, tokenizer, and voice files, then performs inference in the tab. Those are different privacy boundaries: a browser or operating-system voice can have provider-specific behavior, while a local model still needs third-party files before it can work.
No account is required, and analytics events exclude text. Optional analytics record actions such as choosing a mode or completing a download only after consent. Drafts, favorites, settings, and generation metadata can be saved in this browser and cleared from the same interface.
Choose the right private voice path
Use Instant Voice when you need immediate listening, proofreading, or accessibility. Its language and accent list reflects the current device, and Web Speech does not provide an audio download. Use Natural AI for a downloadable English WAV when the device can load the model. WebGPU uses the 326 MB fp32 ONNX model; the WebAssembly fallback uses the 92.4 MB quantized model, before additional runtime and cache overhead.
Privacy questions to ask before sensitive work
Check which browser supplies the voice, whether its localService flag is true, whether an organization manages the device, and whether extensions can read page content. Test with non-sensitive text first. For confidential work, follow the rules of the organization that owns the data; “runs in a browser” is not a substitute for an approved handling policy.

Yes. It has no account, subscription wall, or monthly credits. Device and browser limits still apply.
Does it upload my text?
No editor text is sent to a VoiceAI Free generation server or included in analytics. Device voices and third-party resource downloads have separate provider boundaries described in the privacy policy.
Can every output be used commercially?
No blanket promise is made. Check the text, voice, model, platform, and distribution rights for the specific project.
