Languages Come From Your Device
VoiceAI Free does not claim a fixed language or voice count. The menu is built at runtime from voices reported by your browser and operating system. Two visitors can therefore see different lists.
Common Language Codes
Many current desktop and mobile systems include at least some of the following voice families, but availability is not guaranteed:
| Language | Typical codes | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| English | en-US, en-GB, en-AU | Regional pronunciation and names |
| Spanish | es-ES, es-MX, es-US | Target-country vocabulary |
| French / German / Italian | fr-*, de-*, it-* | Loanwords and abbreviations |
| Chinese / Japanese / Korean | zh-*, ja-JP, ko-KR | Names, numerals, and mixed scripts |
| Hindi / Portuguese / Russian | hi-IN, pt-*, ru-RU | Correct script and regional variant |
How to Get More Voices
- Install additional language or accessibility voice packs in your operating-system settings.
- Restart the browser so it can refresh the Web Speech voice list.
- Return to the tool and confirm that the expected language code appears beside the voice name.
Quality check: Always test names, dates, numbers, abbreviations, and mixed-language phrases before relying on a voice for accessibility or proofreading.
